Perform basic operations with Customers 2 settings

From the Customers 2 Settings page, you can perform a few different basic operations:

Removing sub-tabs from a tab

Remove sub-components from a parent component. Doing so returns the sub-component to the Available Components section of the page and, where appropriate, removes the sub-component from view in the Customers Module. For example, removing a sub-component of the headers component would remove the corresponding portion in the customer's profile summary data.

Steps

  1. On the Admin & Rights 2.0 dashboard, under Module Configurations, click Customers2 Settings. The Customers 2 Settings page opens.

  2. Select the component that contains the sub-component you want to remove.
  3. Click the red icon associated with the sub-component. The sub-component is removed from the Selected Components table and now appears in the Available Components section of the page.
  4. Click Save to implement the change in the Customers Module.

Arranging sub-tabs in a tab

Arrange how sub-components display within a parent component in the Customers Module. Depending on the related layout, the order of the components may be affected in either a left-to-right or a top-down fashion.

Steps

  1. On the Admin & Rights 2.0 dashboard, under Module Configurations, click Customers2 Settings. The Customers 2 Settings page opens.

  2. Click and drag the sub-component you want to move to its new location.
  3. Click Save to implement the change in the Customers Module.

Disabling and enabling page settings

Disable page settings defined on the Customers 2 Settings page.

Steps

  1. On the Admin & Rights 2.0 dashboard, under Module Configurations, click Customers2 Settings. The Customers 2 Settings page opens.

  2. Click Disable Page Settings to disable the settings defined in the Customers 2 Settings page. In lieu of the disabled settings, the system provides a default view for the Customers Module. Note that disabling page settings also clears the Customers 2 Settings page of any fields, which prevent you from adding or removing any components in the Customers Module.
  3. Once disabled, you can click Enable Page Settings to restore the page settings.
