Set up message delivery
Indicate whether this message is delivered on a schedule or triggered by a completed customer behavior.
Set up scheduled delivery
- From the message’s Setup tab, enable Scheduled for Delivery Method.
- Click into the Delivery Date/Time field.
- In delivery date/time picker, indicate when the campaign message will be delivered to the customer and click Ok.
- If you are scheduling a delivery for push notifications, external messages, or in app notifications, you may want to repeat the message. To do so, enable Repeat this message. Use the fields to specify how frequently the message should be repeated.
- If you are setting up a push or in app notification, select a Property to identify the application that will receive the push notification.
Set up triggered delivery
- From the message’s Setup tab, enable Triggered for Delivery Method.
- Click into the Start and End Date field.
- Using the date picker, select start and end dates for the period during which the message can be delivered. Then click Ok.
- If you are setting up an external message, skip to step 5. Otherwise, for all other message types, specify the Trigger Type. You have two options:
- Accept the default of Immediate to send the message immediately after being triggered.
- Click Delayed to delay sending the message after having been triggered. Use the Delay fields to specify when the message is to be sent after the behavior is completed.
