Insights

Improvements to Insights Automation

We've been working to improve the speed with which we can deploy new features for all Insights clients and stand up new dashboards within the platform. Thanks to improvements to our automation tools this release, going forward, you can expect to receive Insights feature updates within two weeks of the production release, which is a 2x improvement from what we had in the past.

Composer (Beta)

New Default Sorting and Opt-Out Support

We've updated how our Audiences, Exports and Queries tables are initially sorted. They'll be sorted first by status, with Live items on top, and then by the Created Date in descending order. You can resort any column in the table by clicking on the arrow by the column label.

We've also updated Composer to ensure that users who have opted-out — for GDPR or other reasons — are not included in our targeting logic.

Personalized Engagement

Integrations

Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Integration

Our API integration with Adobe allows us to publish loyalty user profiles (both basic and custom) as well as tags to the Adobe Experience Platform. This enriches the customer profile on the Adobe side with loyalty data, allowing SessionM to function as the “loyalty engine” for clients utilizing AEP.

White Label App

Ability to Add Loyalty Card and Loyalty Offers to Mobile Wallet

White Label App enhancements are initially rolled out to a demo experience for showcase/consultation with internal teams and existing users. If you currently leverage the SessionM White Label App, your Customer Success representative will reach out to showcase new functionality and determine if it should be rolled out to your custom experience.

We've added the ability for customers to add their digital loyalty card to their native mobile wallet, as well as any loyalty offers currently in the White Label App offer wallet. Both Apple Wallet and Google Pay are supported.

Enhanced Location Search Capabilities

White Label App enhancements are initially rolled out to a demo experience for showcase/consultation with internal teams and existing users. If you currently leverage the SessionM White Label App, your Customer Success representative will reach out to showcase new functionality and determine if it should be rolled out to your custom experience.

Customers are no longer restricted to only searching for nearby stores by zip code. We've integrated with Google Places API to allow customers to also search by a range of identifiers, such as place name, address, city, and state.

Loyalty And Offers

Bulk Offers

Update to Bulk Offer Issuance UI

You now have the ability to view the status of a Bulk Offer Issuance in more detail, specifically the ability to identify if a customer is ineligible for an offer due to an issuance restriction. For example, if an offer can only be issued to a customer one time per week and a bulk offer issuance is issued for a second time, instead of being displayed as a failure, the customer is identified in the “Ineligible” column. In addition, a list of customer IDs can be downloaded as a CSV file from that column.

You can view this new UI in both the Audiences and Campaigns modules, and it adds significant value in troubleshooting why a customer did not receive an offer after a bulk issuance.

Bulk Offer Retry Automation

We've introduced automation to scale internal retry operations to ensure all eligible customers receive the selected offer.

As a reminder, SessionM has a conservative rate of 90,000 offers issued per hour. Please take this into consideration when planning your issuances to large audiences. We anticipate increasing this rate later in 2021.

Improved SalesForce Marketing Cloud Bulk Offer Issuance

We've changed the connection for bulk offers sent to SalesForce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). Previously, SFTP and file import automation were required. Now, the new connection uses the same API calls to SFMC that are already in use by other services. It extends this data set with a new batch send for bulk offer issuances. By default, up to 1,000 user offer issuances will be in a single API call to SalesForce, but that value is configurable by SessionM.

This means you can remove the SFTP automation and sunset the SFTP user that you previously shared with SessionM since it is no longer needed.
