Create audience
Audiences are created using data from customer profiles stored in the SessionM Customer module. There are two kinds of customer attributes that you can segment your customers by to build audiences in the Audiences module:

Standard attributes: Out-of-the-box customer attributes provided as part of the standard SessionM integration. These include attributes such as gender, date of birth, customer lifetime value (CLV), RFM metrics such as the date of a customer’s last purchase, and more.

Custom attributes: Custom customer data passed into the SessionM platform unique to your environment.
The Audiences module uses real-time data for its audiences. This means as data is coming into the platform (that is, customer transactions, attributes, and so on), the audiences created in this module update to reflect the data as it is in real time within the SessionM platform.
Before you start
The process of creating an audience often includes defining and combining multiple segments (using attribute cards) to achieve a very focused targeting of customers.
As you define segments for an audience on the Audience Builder page, they will appear in the Targeting Summary, along with the real-time estimated audience size. This is helpful for you to see how your audience size changes as you change your audience segmentation. Just remember, audiences are typically dynamic. Once an audience is activated, the size will fluctuate over time as customers meet/do not meet the criteria that’s been set.
